As Walt tells it:
I moved back to Florida January 1, 2005 and reacquired custody of Phoenix and started to get settled back home, but despite being back with family after several years, I was still lonely.

I placed a singles ad on Match.com in March or so and met Tiffany in mid-May. We had our first date in June at Sweet Tomatoes where I asked her to marry me... on the first date.

She simply smiled in response and the rest of the night was... different... we went to a bookstore and saw half of a movie, Adam Sandler in The Longest Yard (save your money!) before we realized we had to tend to our kids that our parents were watching for us.

Our second "date" was the following week at FAU in Davie after Tiff's classes. She showed me photos of Hailey and gave me one of herself to take with me (I still carry it in my wallet).

We planned a third date on Friday at her house to watch a movie. I moved in that night... she wouldn't let me go back to my mother's.

I fell in love the first time I saw her smile, walking through the restaurant door. I'll never forget that day.

As Tiffany tells it:
I never moved from Florida....been here all my life actually never moved outside of Broward County. Hailey and I had some great times together but seemed to want more. I longed for adult company and Hailey wanted a stable father and a sibling.

I placed a singles ad on Match.com in April from referral from a friend....thank you Heather! I met Walt sometime early summer 2006. We had our first date in June at Sweet Tomatoes in Dania. When I first saw Walt I couldn't believe he was that tall! Sitting across from Walt I ate like a bird and was hungry but happy that night.

He smiled after we left the restaurant and was not sure what we could do next. We went to a bookstore to look for a crossword puzzle for a friend at work.

Then we were off to see a movie Adam Sandler's The Longest Yard (I agree with Walt....save your money!).

Then we realized we had to tend to our kids that our parents were watching for us....thank you guys!

Our second "date" was the following week at FAU in Davie before my class. I showed him a pic of Hailey and gave him my last pic of me at Parrot Jungle (I was having a good hair day).

Third date on Friday at my house to watch a movie without the kids. After that it was history.

I fall in love everyday when I see his smiling face.

He constantly tells me that he loves me....every morning, noon and night, even if we are having a stand off.
